Blame it on Facebook.

In Summer 2017 when I moved back to Fishtown from far-away Port Richmond, I joined the 19125 Neighbor's Facebook page.  A couple days before Xmas, someone asked, "Are there any Fishtown ornaments anywhere?"  Sadly, the answer from other members was, "No... but there should be!"  And then someone said, "You can always hang an Arctic Splash carton on your tree!" (That's a very funny comment as those of us from Fishtown know...)

Soooo... 5 days before Xmas I decided to make a "Fishtown Official Beverage" ornament and I posted a photo of it to the group.  Everyone went NUTS.  Interest was SOOOO strong that I decided to chuck ALL caution and sanity and dive into the ornament making business... and Jawnaments.com was born as Philly's quintessential neighborhood ornament biz!  Wouldn't be the first time I did something crazy... won't be the last.

Though Jawnaments were originally made in my kitchen in Kensington/Fishtown*, this year I continue to make them at NextFab!  That's right, I've moved up in the world and am all high tech!  I've also expanding the Jawnaments collection to include some more local faves (including several that are near and dear to my heart).

*Yes, my old apartment building straddled the 19122/19125 codes.  Talk about a split personality.
